A news paper article from 1949 from the news paper “De Waarheid”. The article shows us a glimpse of a still working eendenkooi in 1949. Already most eendenkooi were abandoned by that time and the article may have been written with the purpose to reacquaint the public with its history and purpose in nature preservation. Curiously, the article describes the dog’s fur color as “yellow”.
